JaBier (1130), Capital City, Ohio, USA Mar 29, 2009 12oz can. Cloudy lemonade yellow with a big white head. Fruity and malty aroma that is somewhat sweet and creamy and has a touch of hops. Flavor of subtle hops up front, followed by fruit and creamy malt finish. Pretty good and way better than expected. mgumby10 (1844), Jupiter, Florida, USA Mar 25, 2009 pours a slightly hazy bight gold color, with a medium frothy white head. Smells of pretty crisp citrus, light grain, mild hops, and yeast. not a bad nose at all. The flavor was pretty crisp and refreshing. Mostly of light citrus notes, and subtle hops. a little grainy in its texture, but not overly so. A little sweet in its finish and lingering aftertaste. i thought it was a very nice and refreshing brew, and definitely a touch underrated. Flavor was there, nose was nice, and went down great. IrishBoy (2686), Bakersfield, California, USA Mar 18, 2009 12 oz can a present from Odeed! Nose of grassy hops and grain with the hoppiness predominating. Lightly hazy urine yellow with a big yellow tinged head thats hangs around quite a while. Flavor is slightly sweet with some white pepperiness, a hint of background bitterness and a grainy pastiness. Finish is light white pepperiness and after a few seconds background bitterness. One of the better lagers I’ve had. zapprentice (309), East Setauket, New York, USA Mar 1, 2009 Ehh, if you want to try stuff from Maui go with the IPA. Some fruitiness to it. Great light beer for the beach Cletus (5001), Connecticut, USA Feb 27, 2009 Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of pilsner malt and some citrus. Tastes sweet and watery with a peppery finish. snakeoilpete (324), Seattle, Washington, USA Feb 26, 2009 Updated: Mar 6, 2009Can on the beach. Pours golden with a bubbly white head. Nose is mostly fruity hops. Flavor brings out more malt, passion fruit, spicy wheat. Light and refreshing- good beach beer. coharahawk (87), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Feb 11, 2009 Can delivered from Hawaii thanks to Pat and Miranda. Pour is a hazy golden, clearly darker than a pale lager, with a half-inch fluffy head that recedes quickly. First whiff was scary, as I had flashbacks of the Natty Light days of college. Nothing but bland grain. After the head died down, the aroma was much improved turning to slightly citrusy and mild hints of hops. Flavor is crisp and citrus with nice malt backbone. Some hoppy notes in the background. Very smooth mouthfeel. Easy drinking. I definitely wouldn’t mind having a few of these on a warm day, especially on the beach in Hawaii. WeeHeavySD (2941), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Feb 8, 2009 Can at Stone, finally got to try this without having to spend $11 on a six pack. Pours golden with a fluffy tan head. Nose is light and sweet. Taste is light and slightly bitter with a decent bight, refreshing.
