COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our lightest beer, made from 100% malted barley. This blonde lager is what sailors really swam to shore for; it’s light, with very little bitterness and a slight malt finish.

Keykeg at the Euston Tap, London. Not a bad helles lager but totally and utterly uninspiring, certainly for an import price. We’re talking a slight malt sweetness with a hint of citrus sharpness on the nose, with definite sweetness on the palate all through tasting. It’s not an unpleasant beer but there are so many better ones out there I’d avoid it unless you’re on some mad box-ticking adventure. Blah.

It has a lot of flavor for a lager but without that skunk flavor that mass produced lagers do. This taste like a can of sunshine to me. I also I love that Maui Brewing Company is a leader in the canning revolution. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can to glass - cloudy yellow with a thin head. Has an eggshell aroma and taste and for some odd reason I detect kind of a peanut butter taste. Thin. Ok sipping beer. Probably would have been better in the summer.

Pours a clear pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma has light notes of grass and straw...some grains. Flavor follows suit...nice mild grassiness and a faint hint of citrus. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is cerealy and crisp.

4 oz pour on draft at 45th Street Taphouse. Hazy yellow with off-white head. Aromas of tropical and stone fruit, light floral. Tastes of light tropical fruit, citrus. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

Pours clear yellow with a thin white head. Hop aroma and grains, slightly bitter finish. Light body, refreshing. Better choice than any mass produced beer.

Can. Pours golden with a thin white head. Aroma of pale malts, grass and grains. Flavor was dry & grainy with pale malts, grass and bread.

Aroma from can is metallic, appearance is blond, carbonation is good, flavor is an ale but not clearly picking a distinctive flavor, I taste wheat but not a hef, lingering taste is a little bitter

On tap at the brewery. Golden pour with thin white head. Thin body on this light beer. Party liked this the best of all the craft beer on this vacation. This is a lady who drinks Coors and Miller. Not much for me here.

"very pleasing for a light blonde...AND IT ACTUALLY HAS SOME FLAVOR. I’m not used to saying nice things about this style, but it’s one of the better one’s if had, for whatever that’s worth. light and refreshing."
