12oz. can. Lightly sweet, doughy malt aroma, very slight touches of spicy, herbal hop and citrus here and there. Lightly hazy light-medium golden color with an initially foamy head that subsided. Flavor is primarily comprised of that same cereal-like, gently sweet pale maltiness found in the nose, although there is also a light degree of peppery, snappy hop bitterness towards the finish, seeing a touch of dryness enter the picture and ultimately leaving a fair bit of lingering malt character and lemony citrus behind. Palate is pretty thin with a moderately high degree of effervescence and a light-medium body. Light it is indeed, but certainly not flavorless or disagreeable. I also used the other half a can for beer can chicken last night and it worked well. Actually purports to be a Helles style, which I wouldn’t disagree with.

Oct 12, 2008 A very decent beer. Pours with a largish, rocky, white head and a clear yellow body. Pretty decent lacing. Aroma of hops, [sweet] bread, and grassy hops. Not bad tasting by any standards, doughy and grassy hops. a bit fizzy.

Oct 12, 2008 Pours with a murky golden hue with a white head that is mostly diminishing.
The aroma is of citrus, grass, and bread - good amount of hops as well.
The beer has a clean start, flavor wise, then has a bready finish taste that lingers in the mouth for quite some time.
Light mouthfeel, with lively carbonation.
Good beer, and in my opinion deserving of a mark higher than 2.99.

Sep 28, 2008 Can. Slightly sweet strong barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color wtih moderate head. Sweet corn and barley malt flavor. Decent lager but just a bit on the sweet side - would have liked it much better if it were a bit drier.

Sep 8, 2008 Great can. Contents were good also, smooth and best enjoyed poolside. Really enjoyed this can, but need to review again when I get another can in in Colorado!
