Can: Pours a moderate to deep yellow in color with a thick head of large white bubbles. The nose shows off some citric hops along with a good dose of uncooked dough. In the mouth it is balanced, fresh and crisp...perfect for daytime in Hawaii. Flavors are a bit lacking but this is quite thirst-quenching.

Jul 21, 2008 12 oz. can courtesy of DYCSoccer17. Hazy lemon color, quite a bit of frothy head. Aroma is bready with some edgy hops but also a piquant, nebulously agricultural smell. Quite floury flavor, moderately malty with a light tartness. Somewhat sweet with little bitterness in the finish, but the bitterness slowly grows to reach a lightly tingling level. Solid.

Jul 18, 2008 12 ounce can from a 6 pack purchased at BevMo in Vacaville. Doughy, metallic, lightly citrus lemon, and a grassy hop aroma present. Pretty attractive nose. Mildly hazy golden body with a large, fluffy white head present. Good lacing. Light grainy sweetness, followed by some cereal like flavors in the middle. A bit chewy and very drinkable. Finishes with a nice grassy hop kick. I think this fits the style very nicely and is not overly flawed. It’s a good beer.

Jun 29, 2008 Updated: Jul 13, 200812 oz can, a fathers day gift from numba won son: Hazy pale yellow color with a generous white head. Light sweet wheaty aroma. Flavor is light and wheaty with a hint of fruit in the background. Finish is smooth and refreshing with a light bitterness. Light-medium body is smooth with lively carbonation.

Jun 28, 2008 Definitely a step up from the world of macro lagers but not a giant leap. Golden in color with a nice thick off-white head. Flavor is sweeter than most but refreshing in the warm California sun.

Jun 27, 2008 This cloudy yellow beer poured from a can with a decent white head that subsided a bit before the first sip. The flavor is initially sweet pale malt, but finishes dry and peppery.
