COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our lightest beer, made from 100% malted barley. This blonde lager is what sailors really swam to shore for; it’s light, with very little bitterness and a slight malt finish.

20110811 12oz can from 3rd Bass. Dark golden color with tall, lasting white head of even foam. Aroma is rich with toasted cereal notes and a mild green apple that fades as the head recedes. Rather thin bodied, lightly carbonated, soft, slightly sweet, a touch of grainy astringency at the finish but otherwise just about zero bitterness. Not bad, but at $12 a six pack I could do much better for a lawnmower beer.

Pleasant lager. Enough malt to keep me happy, but real easy drinking for the hot Maui weather. Crisp and clean, but not watery, good example of style.

On tap at Maui brewing. Aroma is grainy as is flavor, didn’t notice it was a lager, not bad, I thought it was blonde ale. I will gripe about the lack of head, I’m a man who needs lots of head in his life, Aloha!

Can at home. Slight hazy orangey with a white head, nice lacings. Aroma medium malty (caramel) and hoppy. Flavor light to medium sweet and bitter. Medium body.

Can. Cloudy blonde beer with a strongish head. The aroma is fairly dry, and the flavour is hopped with a yeasty maltyness. Overall a pretty average beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355 ml can. Almost clear, orange golden body with a moderate, lacing white head. Mild but quite pleasant aroma of malt and a hint of grassy hops. Flavor is soft and smooth malt with a light and grassy hop profile, some fruit as well. Medium to thin body. OK as a standard lager with a clean malt flavor, but frankly quite boring. Nothing is really going on here besides quenching your thirst.

Drank from a can on a Kauai beach. Canne on 1-17-12 No pour. Aroma is sweet and grassy. Color is just as the can suggests, Blond. Incan see all the way to the bottom of the can on this one. Mouthfeel is light and smooth with too much carbonation as to make me burpy. Taste is fairly subdued. It's sweet and grassy like a light Kolsch. Not a bad. Ever at all. I wouldn't seek it out again but I wouldn't mind drinking it either. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Originally reviewed: 11/1/10. Can poured into a pilsner glass. Pours a light pale gold with some cloudiness present. A thick 2-finger head rests atop; great retention, leaves some nice sticky lace. The nose yields notes of grass, strong lemon, and floral tones. The mouth is highly carbonated. Lots of bubbles rising quickly throughout this beer. It’s not wearing on the palate, but it is spritzy. Strong flavors of lemon, lime, and a bit of a chemical astringency that I can’t place. Faint hops noted. Bitterness is low. This is extremely easy to consume. It was gone before I knew it. Great refreshing beer for the warm months, the beach, or the backyard.

Can. Pours a clear yellow color with a small white head. Not much of an aroma. Grassy with a light sense of malt. Smooth, yet heavy. Malt is al over the place. Seems like a decent beer to have on the beach over in Hawaii. But I would not have this often. Odd finish.

Very nice an enjoyable beer, especially in the warm Maui weather. Best had on the island of Maui.

Mostly clear rich orange yellow, small white head fades. Sweet yeasty malty aroma. Sweet fruity, bready malt taste. Average carbonation, lightly hopped, firm lager body. A trace of light piney hop in the finish. Very nice! LF (Lagerboy Friendly)
