Our Coconut Porter is a classic robust porter spiced with all natural toasted coconut. It is black in color and crowned with a creamy, dark tan head. It begins with a malty-toasted-coconut aroma followed by a rich, silky mouthfeel with tastes of dark malt, chocolate, and hints of coffee. It then finishes with flavors of toasted coconut and hoppy spice to balance the finish.

Can, badflash. Pours in black body with medium-light tan creamy head. Aroma has roasty character, sweet nutty notes, floral, brown sugar, I think I can get a hint of coconut too. Well balanced, woody. Taste has medium bitterness, earthy, caramel sweetness, smooth caramel after taste. Body is full, medium carbonation.

Can from Rehills, Newcastle. A black beer that pours with a massive rocky head of tan foam. It has a chocolate and a gentle toasted coconut flavour, followed by warming vanilla and a roasted chocolate and coconut finish. Like drinking a Bounty bar!

Can from Firma Bier, dated 061915, large sample. Dark brown color, short frothy head. Aroma of cookie, roast, mocha, chocolate, sweet vanilla, candy. Not the bounty candy bar I expected, but more toast and vanilla. Bit roast in taste, roasty bitterness, cocoa, some coconut sweetness. Bit dry in the finish. Love the aroma especially. Good beer.

Burk från SB. Lätt men tydlig ton av rostade kokosflingor som gifter sig väl med portmersmakerna av choklad, rostade hasselnötter och kaffe. Mjukt, harmoniskt och odramatiskt, men väldigt gott.

Toasted coconut is a little strong and I’m not a huge porter fan. Worth a shot hut not that great. March madness 2016

Dark brown color with light brown head. Aroma is sweet and milky like a chocolate shake. Taste is really well balanced with a nice malt and chocolate sweetness up-front but gets slightly bitter on the finish with a bit of coffee roastiness and also hoppy notes. Body is rich and smooth with low carbonation making it really easy to drink. I don’t really get intense coconut notes but overall it’s a really tasty porter.

0,355l can at home. Canned 061915. almost black color, small coffee-colored head. smells of licorice, medical, some artificial coconut quite in the background, some unpleasant vanilla notes, bit metallic. not a big fan of the smell. full to medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of coconut, light vanilla, some licorice, light dark fruits, bit earthy. finishes lightly roasted with notes of coconut and licorice. hmm, overall good stuff, taste is quite nice, did not like the smell very much though. overall enjoyable beer, coconut notes could have been a bit more pronounced, and there is a bit too much vanilla for me. drinkable though.

Can pour. Dark brown with a thinner tan head and ok lacing. Aroma is coconut, chocolate, vanilla, and roasted barley. Taste is smokey malts, dark chocolate, coconut, and vanilla. Average thickness and somewhat sticky. Nice beer.
