Can. Very dark colour, off-white head. I really do not pick up much coconut in this one. It is quite subtle. On the other hand it has lots of roasted notes with slight chocolate, but mostly roast. Very decent stout.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can pour from Wally’s. Aroma is roasted malts, toasted coconut, with a tinge of old dog bed. Appearance is dark brown to black opaque with strong sparkle evident on the side of the glass--like cola--ring of off-white head and trace lacing. Taste is rich dark malty roasted sweetness and bitter with touch of coconut and late dark chocolate. Palate is full bodied with thick texture and a sense of an almost synthetic coating to the mouth, average carbonation and lingering roasted bitterness. Overall, some really nice features (color, sparkle, taste, body) with some not-so-great ones (weak aroma, lack of head/lacing, strange palate.)

355ml can from Club de Cervezas. Pours a deep dark brown color with a medium tan head that lasts for a while and laces well. Aroma is nicely toasted, with rich bready malts and just the right amount of coconut. Notes of rye and whole-grain bread, toasted grains, coconut, some caramel and nuts. Really nice, rich and fulfilling. Taste is gently sweet, bready, toasted and grainy. A little touch of coconut, but not invasive at all. Nice with a velvety mouthfeel and a dry finish. Alcohol compliments the flavor really well. Medium body, soft carbonation. Tasty. This one is a really nice sessionable Porter. Another excellent one from our fellow Polynesian island brewers.

A black body with a small head that laces the glass. Nose has sweet aromas of chokolate, caramel and Bounty chokolate bars.. Taste is mildly sweet with a moderately roasty dry finish. Soft carbonation and light palate. Nice and well made porter but the coconut is fairly subtle.
