Our Coconut Porter is a classic robust porter spiced with all natural toasted coconut. It is black in color and crowned with a creamy, dark tan head. It begins with a malty-toasted-coconut aroma followed by a rich, silky mouthfeel with tastes of dark malt, chocolate, and hints of coffee. It then finishes with flavors of toasted coconut and hoppy spice to balance the finish.

Thick light brown head, black body. Aroma is mainly chocolate and a little coconut, which is what comes through on the taste. Some fizzy carbonation at the start and a smooth chocolate finish. The coconut flavor is pretty light through the first half of a glass, but really starts to mount towards the end. Much stronger coconut flavor after youíve drank half the can. Overall very good. With the name being coconut porter I was expecting the coconut to be overpowering, but this was nicely balanced with the chocolate flavor.

12 ounce can, canned on 051816. Served in a Maui Brewing pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch and a half tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like roasted malt, coconut, and mocha. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but thereís also some chocolate and nuttiness noticeable, too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, itís a bit slick and smooth with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this brew, but there are other coconut brews that I prefer to drink. With that being said, I think itís definitely worth trying. Itís an enjoyable porter. $3.49 a single can.

Can. Pours opaque dark chocolate with a nice tan head. Aroma starts with roast malt and adds caramel, coconut and toffee tones. Flavor ramps up the coconut and tosses in hints of molasses, semi-sweet chocolate and horehound. Mouthfeel features firm body and lively, lasting fizz. Go coco-nutty!
