COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Coconut Porter is a classic robust porter spiced with all natural toasted coconut. It is black in color and crowned with a creamy, dark tan head. It begins with a malty-toasted-coconut aroma followed by a rich, silky mouthfeel with tastes of dark malt, chocolate, and hints of coffee. It then finishes with flavors of toasted coconut and hoppy spice to balance the finish.

Thick light brown head, black body. Aroma is mainly chocolate and a little coconut, which is what comes through on the taste. Some fizzy carbonation at the start and a smooth chocolate finish. The coconut flavor is pretty light through the first half of a glass, but really starts to mount towards the end. Much stronger coconut flavor after you’ve drank half the can. Overall very good. With the name being coconut porter I was expecting the coconut to be overpowering, but this was nicely balanced with the chocolate flavor.

From a 355ml can. Looks cheap and yet expensive. Pours dark brown to black with a thin biege head. Aroma of light roasted malts. Flavors is again of roasted malts, cacao, light coconut. But very bland. Quite flat in taste, and somewhat of a dirty flavor. Somewhat lacking some substance. One time ok, not twice.
