Our Coconut Porter is a classic robust porter spiced with all natural toasted coconut. It is black in color and crowned with a creamy, dark tan head. It begins with a malty-toasted-coconut aroma followed by a rich, silky mouthfeel with tastes of dark malt, chocolate, and hints of coffee. It then finishes with flavors of toasted coconut and hoppy spice to balance the finish.

Good but I was a little underwhelmed. It had a roasted aroma with some sweetness to it. Almost like a milk stout. Dark color with a nice foamy head. The flavors were roasted malt and a mildly unique nut flavor, which I assume was the coconut. It added something different just not necessarily improved it. Lighter mouthfeel than expected with mild carbonation. I bet this would be pretty good on tap. No significant hops presence, but that’s not a negative. Above average porter.

Decent can. Deep, ruby-black, clear brew with an immense mocha ice cream head. Aroma grew on me - roasted, toasty cocoa/coconut. Lightish body, goes flat. Some clingy artificial/chemical notes in there. Just a little creosote. Not too bitter. Bittersweet cocoa on the backend, and light roast. Serviceable, but I didn’t love. ABC Liquors, Betton.

12 oz can compliments of Zizzybalubba (thanks buddy). Black hue, zero visibility with 2 finger thick frothy light khaki head. Excellent lacing. Light chocolate malt aroma, nutty with a hint of vanilla. I did not detect any coconut in the aroma. Creamy chocolate malt taste up front with more of a nutty light finish. I detected a little coconut on the finish after it warmed a bit. This was a really enjoyable beer.

Can in San Diego. Nice robust porter, roasty, dry with a slight astringent finish. I don’t get any coconut though.

Can. Pretty standard looking porter. Taste was pretty good though I could not detect any coconut which was a bit disappointing. Lots of chocolate and toasted malts and a bit of a nutty flavor.

Single can from Julio’s. Pours out a an opaque black color with a frothy tan head. Roasty aroma with hints of coconut. Smooth and silky mouthfeel. Low bitterness, but well balanced. Lingering malty flavor.

12oz can. Pours black with a decent sized tan head that recedes after a few minutes. Great Coconut and chocolate flavor with notes of coffee and spice. Really delicious and low enough ABV where you can enjoy a couple and still see straight.

12 oz can. First time distributed to Florida. Pours a very dark mahogany brown color and topped by a nice, spongy head of tan colored foam that shows good retention. Not much in the way of lacing left behind. The aroma shows notes of dark cocoa, caramel, roasted coffee, and a touch of vanilla cream. Maybe a touch of toasted coconut in there, but it is faint. The flavor follows with a malt base of dark bittersweet cocoa, caramel, and mocha with some earthy hops lending balancing bitterness on the back end. Again just a hint of toasted coconut floating around. Medium bodied and smooth with a silky mouthfeel, probably thanks to the coconut, with balanced carbonation that leads to a lingering bitter sweet finish. Really nice Porter overall, but I was just hoping for more coconut. Still a good beer worth getting again.

CAN. Poured black to red with small beige head.. Sweet thick molasses & dark malt nose.. Dark malts with creamy texture & a hint of coffee, coconut was minimal originally, once it warmed up a touch gave it a "bounty" chocolate vibe.. Much better once it warmed up.. Sourced Dutch Trading Co

Nice aroma of sweet chocolate, coconut, and some vanilla. Ebony in color. Sweet richness up front. bittersweet chocolate , some coconut...not over bearing, and some almond. Slightly bitter finish. Awesome porter.
