Big thanks to stefanje for this can! This was interesting considering I absolutely hate the taste of coconut, but always wanted to try this beer. Pours a very dark black with small head. Can smell the roasted coconut right from the pour...very enjoyable. Chocolate coconut aromas with coffee in there as well. Flavor is malt, chocolate and lightly coconut on the finish, which surprisingly I really enjoyed! Great mouthfeel...full bodied and lingering. Really liked this beer. Thanks Stefan!

Sep 4, 2008 Can. Dark brown pour with a small light brown head. Aroma is chocolate / cocoa, light roasted malt, and cream. Pretty soft palate, mostly sweet from the cocoa and creme, but the roast slightly offsets that sweetness. One of the better porters I have had.

Sep 1, 2008 Can courtesy of hophead22. Thanks Tim! Pours a well-carbonated dark brown with a small tan head. Nose of cocoa, roast, coconut, cream. Flavor is light roast, more chocolate, a bit coconut, not much hops. NIce beer overall that I quite enjoyed.

Aug 31, 2008 Smells like chocolate milk, coconut, more chocolate. Yummy aroma. Some coffee...
Pours with a bubbly off- brown head. Very faintly tan and quickly dissipating to a slight ring around the beer.
Taste is fizzy, slightly overcarbonated, which hurts the mouthfeel, some slickness.
More chocolate milk, some coconut, some astringency from the grains. I really only get a little residual bitterness from the hops. They don’t make their presence known at all in the taste.
A little bit of roasted quality in taste and aroma as it warms.
This is solid.

Aug 30, 2008 Can sampled at RBSG 08. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Roasty and coconut nose. Lighter side of medium bodied with thin texture, perhaps a tad over carbonated. Flavor of carmamel, grains, coconut, and milk chocolate. Good but needs "more" of everything to be great.

Aug 28, 2008 Can, thanks to rogueone! Pours dark brown with a soapy tan head. Aroma is chocolate, light roast, light coconut. Flavor is much the same. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, finished sweet. Nice brew, great to watch the coconut flavor blow up as this warmed.
