3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark black pour. Light head with no lacing. Lots of toastiness in the aroma. Notes of sweetness. Flavor is a bit harsh off the bat coming from the toasted coconut and chocolate malt, but it finishes real well and balanced.

Sampled from a can from Utobeer. Near black with a tan head. Toasty aromas with lots of coconut. Flavour is rich and sumptuous - lots of roasted malts and coconut with hints of milk chocolate and mild coffee. Full mouthfeel. Finish is coconut and richly bitter hops. Absolutely delicious.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce can, canned on 051816. Served in a Maui Brewing pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch and a half tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like roasted malt, coconut, and mocha. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but thereís also some chocolate and nuttiness noticeable, too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, itís a bit slick and smooth with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this brew, but there are other coconut brews that I prefer to drink. With that being said, I think itís definitely worth trying. Itís an enjoyable porter. $3.49 a single can.

Can. Pours opaque dark chocolate with a nice tan head. Aroma starts with roast malt and adds caramel, coconut and toffee tones. Flavor ramps up the coconut and tosses in hints of molasses, semi-sweet chocolate and horehound. Mouthfeel features firm body and lively, lasting fizz. Go coco-nutty!
