Big grapefruit taste initially that ramps up to a powerfully full IPA. Really warms the cheeks. Citric bitterness really lingers but lightly on the tongue. I like this hop.

12oz can from BevMo. Pours a hazy orange amber with a small off white head. Biscuity malts with faint floral hop notes. a decent IPA, not really worth 12 bucks a 6 pack.

On tap at Urge in RB/Poway on April 28, 2011. They had 8 different brews from Maui that day. Big rich pour of an IPA. Orange/ruby and heavy in the glass. Tropical fruit sweet and great.

Draft. Clear, bright orange. Nose is subtle, grains and English hops. Flavor is crisp and clean, bready grains, light citrus and grass hops, moderate bitterness, finishes dry. Medium-light body and moderate carbonation. A very easy drinking and low abv IPA, clean and fresh mouthfeel.

There is something pretty English about this. It reminds me of an Americanized Woodforde’s or St Austell beer. Real drinkable with a balanced dryness and dusty hop character. Definitely a kick-ass session.
