Can from Utobeer. Colour is bright cloudy amber and a lovely looking foam head. Great looking beer. Nose is mandarin, lactic creaminess, dried coriander, minerally. Taste is sharp, carbonated, bitter citrous, mandarins softening the bitterness. Also has some lactic milkiness. It’s nice but the body is a bit weak. Quite watery. Finish has quite a carbonated prickly bitterness with some fresh coriander lingering..

Great can beer! Pours a cloudy golden orange. Smell is typical Belgium with some orange. Nice head initially, but didn’t last too long.

[355ml can, Drinkmonger Edinburgh] Pours hazy lemon yellow with a bubbly, fluffy head – looks really rather inviting. Aroma of yeasty, wet hay-covered lemons. Orange peel and spices are there as well. The flavours are pretty similar, with that tangy orange citrus blending really well with the musty yeasty edge. Very nice indeed. I’ve been to La Perouse too, albeit the one in Australia. Wish I was drinking this there rather than rainy Scotland! [08072012]

Pours a straw like yellow with reasonable carbonation. Classic Belgian yeast predominates although the orange is more pronounced! Less potent on the fruit in the mouth. A sweetness which feeds to a mild spice. Enjoyable!

355 ml can bought @ Ølbutikken. Pours very hazy pale golden with a small fizzy and frothy white head that quickly dissipates without leaving any trace on the glass. Smell is sweet, fruity and spicy with mandarin oranges, white pepper, dried coriander, lemon hard candy, hay, cloves, allspice, lemon zest, crackers, tropical flowers and apricots. Taste is sweet and fruity with tropical fruit juice, mandarin orange peal, coriander, cloves, white pepper, lemon zest, dry soil, crackers, hay and lemonade. Mouthfeel is crisp, slightly smooth, watery and light bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and very fruity with peaches, mandarin oranges, lemon zest, hay, white pepper, cloves and hints of crackers and dry soil. Very nice and refreshing summer beer.

(Bottle) Pours cloudy yellow to pale golden with a small white head. The aroma is yeasty and perfumey with dough, white bread, white flowers, scarp coriander and tangerines (peel and juice). The flavour is light sweet, light bitter and light acidic with notes of coriander, juicy tangerines and wheat: The mouthfeel is clean and light numbing from the coriander with light carbonation. Fairly dry, wheaty, floral and soft citric finish. Light to medium bodied.

35 cl can @ home. Pours hazy yellow (it frankly looks a bit like orange juice) with a white head that leaves no lacing. Aroma is spices, fruit, slightly floral, orange peel, yeast, malt. Flavour is fruit, orange peel, subtle spices – quite watery.
