355ml can. Pours a cloudy yellow/orange with a nicely proportioned head. The nose has mandarins and cream. The taste has a sort of peach melba thing going on. The texture is light to medium in structure with a lovely creamy texture and a nice refreshing finish. Overall, a style I like and it’s well executsd.

Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen
Cloudy blond color. Some aroma of wheat, fruit, sweet. Mild flavor, some boring wheat, without character, some vegetables, quite sweet, low bitterness, and even some alcohol feeling. Nothing interesting, not Belgian not German, just a sweetish Wheat Ale.

Did this a disservice by drinking several straight from the can at a poolside luau. Finally poured one in a glass a couple weeks later and discovered fine witbier. Light and lemony with plenty of wheat and noticeable spice and yeast.

Can. Head is initially average sized, frothy/fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (flowers), with notes of lemon/lime zest, coriander. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Pretty ordinary rendition...very spice-centric, light and watery. Passable.

12oz can This beer pours an opaque golden color with a generous white head. The aroma is grainy and the flavor is tangy with the mandarin oranges playing a key role. It’s a good beer for a hot day.

A - Pours a cloudy golden-yellow with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some light lace. S - Aroma is a mix of wheat with some lemon zest, Belgian yeast, coriander, and other spices. T - Starts off with a mix of sweet wheat with some lemon zest, coriander, and a bit of Belgian yeast. Through the middle, some more yeast character comes through with a bit more spice and pepper. The finish is a mix of wheat and other grains with some lemon zest, and some Belgian yeast. M - Medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry and lightly spicy finish. D - Very drinkable. Nice balance, but a bit empty and a bit thin bodied. Good yeast character though.

Draft. Poured hazy golden to yellow color with an average creamy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate yeasty sweet citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium citrus sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

Approximately 3-4 oz sampler at the Brewpub in Lahaina, Maui. The pour is a hazed yellow white, with a tinge of light green. The aroma is wheat, coriander, and a dusty yeast. The taste is clean grain wheat, touch of the coriander, and light clove yeast. Really clean, manages the spice and yeast exceptionally. The palate is light to medium bodied, soft natural carbonation. Really well done wit, this was probably my favorite of the samplers.

Crushed with Dadbra. Pours a light, opaque yellow with a slight head out of a 12 oz can. Excellent. Nose full of wheat, orange zest, and clove. Fruity, fresh flavor even though the can is from 03/08. A superior wit.
