On tap at St Augustine’s in Vancouver. A dark brown beer with white head. Roasted malt nose. Pleasant roasted malts on the palate, but a tad too sweet for this guy. 3.1.

On tap. Pours a dark reddish brown with light head of fine bubbles. Aromas of nuts and stale coffee. Flavors carry same though drier and richer with additional notes of heavily roasted malts and toast.

A very average brown. Pours a light burgundian amber with a sopay off white head. The aroma is a bit nutty with toffee and caramel malts. Light grassy and slightly citrus hops. Good balance with a medium body. The flavour profile is a bit bland overall with a mild bitterness.

Draft - Light roast and toast. Cloudy brown with a decent white head. Toast, light roast and malts. Clean finish.

On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a dark reddish brown with a small off-white head. Nose brings out toasted malt and toasted nuts, with a medium hop profile. Flavour is earthy and sort of muted, with toasted nuts and dirty earthy malt. Not bad but pretty standard brown.

Can: Peanut hull, soil, and coffee nose. Clear brown, thick tan head. Soil with a crayon box finish. Thin, soft carbonation. Quite mild even for a session ale. Dialed a little too far down.

Can poured a clear reddish brown with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of cocoa, caramel and eathiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of caramel, cocoa and light earthiness with a smooth lingering cocoa finish.

Quite dark brown color with a sparce white head.
Aromas are all malt with notes of nuts, molasses and chocolate. Hops are very light; a bit of dough from the yeast.
Body is medium; moderate to heavy sweetness.
Overall a fairly typical brown ale - sweet and malty.
