COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our American brown ale has a light but crisp bitterness with a slight nutty flavor. Special roast and chocolate malts were used to impart the dark brown color and complex flavors. This is a true session beer and a wonderful representation of the style. Northern Brewer and Cascade hops.

On tap at the Maui Brewing Company. Reminiscent of Black Butte Porter. Forward on the malt, some nuttiness, balanced by a bit of cascade. Delicious.

Nutty aroma, chocolate and almonds prominent. Sweet, malty, a roast nut taste, a little watery and light, but drinkable. Not a lot of complexity; one-dimensional.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 7/6/12

Aroma: The nose is roasted malts mostly, with light nutty notes, and a little earth
Appearance: It pours a clear reddish-brown with some light lace from the small beige head
Flavor: The flavor is malty and roasty, thought it is not super sweet or bitter
Palate: The feel is sticky and somewhat smooth, to along with the medium body
Overall Impression: I thought it was a solid brown for sure. It hits all the marks for the style without being anything crazy or anything special. This is just a solid brew.

On tap at Maui brewing; poured a nice medium brown. Somewhat hoppy of an aroma. Overall it was OK, some body but the hops seemed unbalanced. Compared to a few of the others I tried in the sampler, it was decent ..

Dark brown pour, light tan head. Roasted nuts, spicy hops, toffee on the nose. Good citrus hops in the flavor with a big dose of roasted nuts, cocoa and even a hint of coffee.

Brown color... Very malty, not very balanced with hops, but definitely an enjoyable brown ale... Very well done...
