COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our American brown ale has a light but crisp bitterness with a slight nutty flavor. Special roast and chocolate malts were used to impart the dark brown color and complex flavors. This is a true session beer and a wonderful representation of the style. Northern Brewer and Cascade hops.

A reddish copper brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with dark fruits, nutty notes, light cinnamon, OK. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light cherry notes, chocolate malt, grassy hops, oily mouth feel, nice and smooth. Can.

Tap at Rocks&Brews, Paia, Maui. Pours dark brown with a little red. Medium light beige head. Aroma is cyrup and sweet dark malts, very close to Finnish "kotikalja". Appearance is pretty thick and dense. Taste doesn’t quite meet the excpectations raised by the aroma and appearance. Palate is surprisingly thin and watery.

appearance: dark brown with ruby highlights, thick light tan head shrinking to a soapy cap; generous lacing. aroma: fulsome nose of toffee, dark chocolate, espresso, roasted hazelnuts, and vanilla. taste: brown bread, toasted hazelnuts, caramel, toffee, milk chocolate, leather, vanilla, earth, grass, some coconut milk. finish: cream and smooth and toasty, with a lasting nutty, chocolate sweetness. notes: Man, this was a superb brown ale. It’s on the sweeter end, and is almost big enough to feel like a porter. Would drink this any time. Can from TW&M Alexandria, Virginia.

Pint on tap at Beer Revolution in Edmonton pours amber in color with a small off-white head that leaves some spots of lacing behind. Aroma is roasted grains and citrus hop bitterness with a chocolate malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with decent carbonation. Nicely done brown ale.

Standard fare. So so roast, nuts, vanilla. That actually covers it. Keep the Franklins in your pocket. Livin’ off free bonus pints. Hollah!!

On tap at St Augustine’s in Vancouver. A dark brown beer with white head. Roasted malt nose. Pleasant roasted malts on the palate, but a tad too sweet for this guy. 3.1.
