3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Grainy, fruity nose. Papaya or peach or something, herbal, a little pepper. Strange. Pours golden amber, frothy white head. Flavors of grain, peppery earthy notes, peach, papaya, and more grain. Easy to drink for an imperial golden ale. Interesting to drink.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can. Pours hazy light orange with white head. Aroma has some pleasant fruity notes and light malt backbone. Flavor is much the same, slightly hard to describe. Light, soft mouth feel with high carbonation. Overall, is OK.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can from World beers. Hazy orange-gold pour with a brief, short white head leaving little lace. Nose is fruity with citrus hops and a pilsener-like yeast and malt aroma. Medium body with light carbonation. Peaches, oranges, Hawai’ian sweet bread, pears and citrus hops. Finish is medium, pleasantly sweet and lightly bitter. I tend to like specialty grain ales as a nice change of pace, but perhaps not everyday beers. This one fits that pattern. Well worth a try.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can. Hazy orange with white head. Smells wheaty, slight fruit. Tastes creamy, foamy, light, a touch of fruitless, pepper, bitter finish. Nothing too exciting, not terrible. Very middle of the road.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
GABF, 2012. This one sounds more interesting that it is. I was expecting exotic flavors that I might not recognize, but what is there is sweetness with crackers. Gold color. Clean finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz can. Pours a slightly hazed honey golden with average slightly off white head. Bit of juicy tropical fruit, light honey, peppery spice, boozey white grape tannins, maybe a touch soapy. Tight prickly carbonation. Light maltiness hits first, some peppery floral perfume sweetness, finishes with dried papaya and apricot sweetness.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This one is growing on me. Had it on draft a few places and now in a can at home. Fruity nose, never had breadfruit before, not sure if you can taste it. Surprised to see it at 8.2 abv.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. can from Total Wine - Pours a hazy amber color with a one finger thick off white head. Light lacing. Aroma is esters and spice. Finish is lingering esters. Flavor is the same. Medium body. An uneventful and disappointing beer. Do people really like these goofy beers?

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A - Pours a hazy golden-orange color with a finger of rothy slightly off-white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some lacing.
S - Aroma is a mix of grapefruit and orange hops, caramel and bready malts, and some tropical fruits.
T - Starts off with some grapefruit, orange, and citrus hops with some sweet caramel malts and some tropical fruits. Though the middle some bready flavors come through with tart fruits. The finish is a mix of citrus hops, caramel malts, bready flavors, and tropical fruits.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a sweet and fruity finish.
D - Very drinkable. Good different flavors that come together in a well balanced beer.
