3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can at Antenna. Deep gold with amber tints. Low, fine head. Fruity, tropical nose, citrus, honey, bread. Sweet honey flavor, bread, cake. A bit too sweet, but interesting and refreshing.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz can: pours a transparent deep golden with a spotty-lacing white head. Has a unique floral fruity esters and a touch of clove. Starts with good fullness and light effervescence and sweet bready malt with some honey and floral spice before a drier bittersweet toasty finish. Well-balanced and enjoyable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden in color with a slight haze. Lightly sweet aroma with alcohol hints and light maltiness. Moderate fruit sweetness, like a tirple and a bit of earthy character in the finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled on 3/18/2013. This fruit beer pours a very hazy pineapple orange gold color from a 12oz can. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, earthy and floral. A medium bodied fruit beer. The malts are fruity and sweet, tropical and bready. The hops are floral and citrusy. Good carbonation. Interesting combination of flavors, some fruity, some earthy and a hint of tartness. Certainly not your typical fruit beer, of course they aren’t using the typical fruits either… Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly tart.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
For the price i paid for this four pack, over $15, i was very disappointed. The texture was watery which is not always bad but with the flavor of this beer it was. The smell on the other hand was nice, like a fruit salad. The taste was similar to papya, which i hate haha. Again way overpriced.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Appearance: Peach-gold with a frothy white head.
Aroma: Malt, corn, alcohol - very mild.
Flavor: Much like the aroma. Has more of a grain adjunct character and less of a fruit character. Bread fruit indeed.
Other: Kind of an odd viscosity as if someone way over did the cara pils malt.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz can. Pour is a clear copper with no head. Aroma is tropical pineapple juice with a bread note. I get a little bit of yeast as well. Mouth has a noticeable hop bitterness. Slightly sweet and fruity. Medium body. For being 8.2%, the alcohol is hidden fairly well. Not too shabby.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a copper orange color with a finger of stocky tight bubbled foam. On teh nose its got some sweet tropical fruit punch, sourdough bread and a little creamsicle. On the palate its a bit heavier on the caramel malt than I expected and has a big hop bitterness that really draws out and get a touch of phenol in the lingering finish. But the juicy fruit punch add to the flavor complexity and balances the bitterness a bit. Thanks adnielsen !

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Golden amber color with white head. No lacing, very "clean" looking brew. Aroma slightly bready but seems sanitized. Taste is neutral to me not bad drinking however. Clean finish. I feel the aroma could be improved.

A truly..weird beer that is really good. You may think this is going to be sweet, almost barley-wine esque but it really is a style unto itself. Not sticky sweet but remarkably well balanced, fruity but dry. The high alcohol content of this brew makes 3 cans a decent evenings worth of drinking, or a nice day at the beach. Maui makes some of my favorite beers, they know what they are doing.
