Originally a collaboration with Pizza Port Ocean Beach.

Double IPA with Tangerine & Blood Oranges and Maui cane sugar. The deep red hue is a result of the blood orange juice and specialty malts. The unique hop profile is made up of Azacca, El Dorado and Sorachi Ace. This beer is delightfully bitter and aromatic with noes of tropical fruit and, of course, orange.

Cloudy golden color. Good aroma, and powerful hops, resiny and fruity; compared to the Double Overhead, itís quite similar but with a light animal trace, more chewy, less refreshing feeling.
Very good.

Draft - Pithy citrus and sweet malt. Hazy gold with a decent white head. Grapefruit hops, nice malts sweetness, light booze and a bitter finish. Not bad.

Can. Pours a hazy amber color with floaties in there and a moderate off-white head on it. Nose is dry and lightly grassy, but seems as though itís a bit stale. Taste is bitter and a bit earthy, and definitely seems like itís well past its prime. Sad.

12 oz. can from Total Wine, Chesapeake, VA. Slightly hazy dark orange pour with a short off-white head. Nice aroma of grassy hops, pine, and tropical fruits. The blood orange juice is certainly detected in the taste and complements the wet grass, pine needles, and sweetness from the sugar and malt profile nicely. Overall this is a nice and unique twist on a DIPA that seems like it would come from a brewery in Hawaii.

12 ounce can from Beer Run. Hazy orange with lots of floating particles. Large foamy white head, fair retention. Aroma of citrus, tropical hops, honey, grain. The taste is citrus, earth, tropical fruits, canned fruits, pale malt, caramel. Medium bodied, low carbonation, moderate lingering bitterness.

Clear bright copper with a thin ring of white tan around the edge of the glass. Big dank nose of earthy resiny hops with a bit of grapefruit and earthy bitterness. Solid flavor profile with citrus bitterness and semisweet caramel and earthy pine resin, with a little floral resin tones and strong leafy floral/piney bitterness on the finish. A little caramaltyness throughout. Very nuanced and bitter though balanced.

I love this. Great aroma of herbs and citrus. Balanced flavor. Full mouth feel. Even the packaging is eye catching and fantastic. The one down side is price, but if you want to treat yourself get this. If you can find it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml can pours a golden orange color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is tropical fruits with some citrus and hints of pine. Taste is a citrus and pine hop bitterness with a tropical fruit and malty sweetness. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Alcohol is a little low for the style, but overall this is still somewhat tasty and worth trying at least once.

Can: Yeasty orange peel and pencil shavings aroma, mild. Cloudy and chunky amber, medium head. Yeast, whole orange, and clay flavor. Orange peel finish. Medium body, tangy. Muddled and muddied, decent but not extraordinary.
