COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Originally a collaboration with Pizza Port Ocean Beach.

Double IPA with Tangerine & Blood Oranges and Maui cane sugar. The deep red hue is a result of the blood orange juice and specialty malts. The unique hop profile is made up of Azacca, El Dorado and Sorachi Ace. This beer is delightfully bitter and aromatic with noes of tropical fruit and, of course, orange.

355 ml can. Unclear medium red copper, mostly lasting off-white foam. Pungent aroma of tropical fruits and orange citrus. Taste is dominated mostly by tangy sweet blood orange, lots of juicy tropical fruity hops, moderate malts, low bitterness. Softer carbonation, medium bodied, well hopped. Very tasty. NFL (Not for Lagerboys)

Pours cloudy orange/brown in color with a small white head. Aroma is significant pine with caramel and grains. Taste is a nice balance of pine, a little pineapple, and malted grains leading to a lengthy bitter finish. Not bad.

First, this is delicious! Pours a dark golden/medium amber with 2 finger head that slowly dissipates leaving medium to heavy lacing. Aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, orange. Hint of sweet, but predominately bitter. Full bodied with long bitter grapefruit rind finish. This is a great balanced beer with good tropical notes to point out where it comes from .

Can from CBB. Murky amber with tons of floaties. Big citrus aroma, not the usual hop profile I expect from a DIPA, probably the Sorachi Ace. Flavour is all blood orange and tangerine. The sugar cane is pretty noticable too. This beer quickly grew on me.

Not a real strong aroma, the tangerine is evident. Pours murky orange with a lot of floaties. Taste is alright, lots of citrus with a bitter finish.

Can @ Home. Light amber in color with a soapy white head. Sort of sweet on the nose for my liking. Some watermelon, orange, and overripe peach. Maybe some pineapple? Pretty citrusy, at least. The flavor is too sweet for me. Does have a decent citrusy tang, though. Some sweetened dry pineapple, lots of apricot and peach, and orange zest.

Pours cloudy orange with sediment. Head off-white with nice lacing. Aroma heavy with OJ and sweet tangerines. Medium body with flavors of same and super smooth caramel malts and a little Earth. Finish is less bitter than DIPA but with great smooth flavors on palate. Would almost expect these flavors from a hopped-up American Wheat Ale.

Can. Heavy citrus aroma with notes of blood orange and tangerine. Pours cloudy golden colored with heavy sediment and a thin white head and very little lacing. Starts quite smooth with no hint of hoppiness whatsoever and with slight chocolate flavors to go with a rich maltiness. Finishes extremely smooth for an ipa with strong tangerine and blood fruit acidity and flavor throughout. Very nice ipa!

12oz can pours with a copper body that has a bit of a haze to it and supporting a thin off white head. The modest aroma offers up some pine hops and then thin layers of mango and earthy hoppiness. The taste delivers a pleasing blend of pine hops, earthy herbal hoppiness, candied mango and pineapple and then some bitter grapefruit to midway. Amid all of those flavors it gets a bit earthy tea like and then more into resiny hops as the finish approaches. Solid as this maintains a nice tropical fruitiness with some floral hops poking out now and then.
