Draft at the brewpub. Amber body, small head, hoppy nose. Hard to distinguish from the Big Swell IPA, except that this is a bit lighter.

Apr 12, 2008 Updated: Apr 23, 2008Went here for lunch and unfortunately only got to try this one beer (would have loved to sit there all afternoon and sample...). Copper color with a nice foamy head. Sweet aroma with a touch of hops. There seemed to be a nice amount of hop flavor in this for a Pale Ale. Slightly bitter bite with floral notes making it great for the 80 degree weather they were having that day (and pretty much everyday). Would love to have it again but not sure if that’s going to happen... I’d have to get my ass back to Maui!

Jan 13, 2008 Tap at brewery: Light caramel color; nice and frothy head. Malts had nice elements of nuts and caramel. Loved the hop profile, which was grassy and earthy. Aromas made me think of marijuana. Flavors made me think of hemp seeds. Nice pale.

Nov 4, 2007 On tap at the Maui Brewing Company Brew Pub. Poured a medium amber color with a very small sized off white head. Aromas of floral green hops, light caramel, and some citrus. Tastes of the same.

Aug 19, 2007 On tap at the brewery. I think that this is a very good APA. Nice hoppy aroma, with good flavors of malts and hops. In a blind tasting, side by side with other well respected APAs, I would guess that this brew would hold its own
