3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Urge in Poway/RB. Was with my friend Carol and told her I couldn’t decide which was a more fitting tribute, this or Double Raging Bitch. DRB was a better brew. Yellow pour with big fizzy head. Light spice wit hthe Belgian yeast. Bitter citrus all over the back half. Not bad.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a nice light gold with a small white head. Decent lacing. Smells of wheat, yeast, and subtle hops. The taste was bread, wheat, and liggtly hops. The flavors didn’t pop they were very mellow, I hate to say watered down but that’s what I took from it. I love what the guys are doing in Maui, just not this one and if you ever make it go to the brew pub they have more to taste than the brewery itself...

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours light orange with no head at all. A very light Belgian. A dry sweetness to it. A little club soda-y. Publican thought something might have been wrong but could not detect the usual problems like carbonation or past it’s prime. To be reviewed again if I get the chance.

Tap @ the brew pub. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a frothy white head, some nice lacing left on the glass. Nose holds some herbal and spiced hops with a light yeasty finish.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample at Maui Brewing in Lahaina. Pours a light golden, thin head, slightly murky. Aroma has some gumball, Belgian yeast, sharp hop bite. Taste is lovely though a tad harsh and unrefined. This might well be a beer that would age well (?) and that would improve it...but all the basics are here. It’s very decent and totally unexpected in the Maui heat. Nice.
