I didn’t find the difference within this one and a adjunct lager. Maybe it has more hops presence. Very plain beer and very light.

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2015 On tap at Maui Brewing Company. Refreshing taste that reminds me of a fresh Czech pilsner with a little more hops.

Pint on tap at Beer Revolution in Edmonton pours a pale straw color with a small white head that leaves spotty lacing. Aroma is cereal grains and light fruits. Taste is a grassy and spicy hop bitterness with a malty sweetness. Grainy mouth feel. Light bodied with decent carbonation. Nice pils.

Draft. Grass/fresh hay and barley malt aroma. Pale yellow with large head. Mildly sweet grainy barley malt and lightly bitter hay flavor. Nice balance. Solid.

On tap @ Capitol Beer. Clear golden pour with white foam. Some decent breadiness, but there’s a lot of cereal/corn flake to it as well. A decent hoppiness. Sort of a citrusy note to it. There’s a decent bitterness to it, but kind of raw and green. Sweet cereal grain and bready malts. Some apple esters. Grassy finish.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma of mild fruit and citrus. Med body, nearly. Flavor is lightly bready with tropical fruit and citrus. Quite tasty More fruit and hop than many pils. Very drinkable.

Crisp, clean with grainy and cereal malts. Light honey sweetness with a bit of grassy hops. A tad of bitterness and not much else. Very direct brew with a clean light profile.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy blond color. Strong grass and cereals flavor, but also some fusels, like the result of high gravity brewing.
Not interesting.

On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Nose smells like a wheat beer, with some tropical fruitiness as wheat upfront. Flavour isn’t as pleasant, with notes of wheat and biscuity malt. Not too interesting but competent and clean.
