This pale ale consists of two-row malted barley and a dash of Munich and crystal malts. Centennial and Simcoe hops are used to give a crisp hop bitterness to balance the malty notes.

On draft at the brewpub. Light orange in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of white grapefruit, pinecone, and a bit of pale malt. Flavors are classic APA with more grapefruit and conifer blended with pale and light caramel malt. Medium to light bodied with a sharp bitter finish. Very similar to fresh SNPA.

Pint on tap at Beer Revolution in Edmonton pours a hazy golden color with a finger of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus with some caramel and grains and some earthy tones. Taste is a citrus and earthy hop bitterness with a light fruity and caramel malty sweetness. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, a nicely balanced pale ale with good blend of flavors.

Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately to heavily bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic.

mcberko (14396) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 30, 2015
On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a cloudy light orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out tropical fruits, some piney and resinous hops, and a little caramel bready malt. Flavour is fairly dirty, with lots of muffled earthy hops, yeast and a little bready malt to back things up. Not very elegant nor complex, but it’s enjoyable for what it is. Decent.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy dark blond color with compact head. The hop has an evident citrus character, with chamomile, found in the aroma and flavor; the malt has light biscuity qualities, and overall it also has a moderate sweetness.
Nice Pale Ale.

Draught @ Haket. Pours hazy golden with a big frothy offwhite head that slowly dissipating while leaving lots of thick trace on the glass. Smell is fruity and grassy with crackers, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, lychee, freshly cut grass, pine needles, bergamot and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter, slightly fruity, grassy and floral. Mouthfeel is tiny dry, tiny round, slightly astringent, very tiny watery and light to medium bodied. Finish is very tiny sweet and bitter with crackers, white bread, grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple, freshly cut grass, pine needles and lemon zest. Surprisingly bright and fresh. Very enjoyable...
