I had this on draft at the brewpub in Ka’anapali. This beer had a nice smokey flavor that was well balanced by the malts & hops. It was very enjoyable.

OMG. R u ring kiddin’ me? Its runny brown! No memorable head. Smells like goodness and cocoa
. You know. Don’t act stupid. We’really all about titling feel good. The beer has a soft start of velvety cocoa malt and faint hemp. Deisel smells better.... and stronger. Some hop resin clings on the palate making it drier. Now that I’ve got your attention. Finish it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the Flying Saucer in Fort Worth.
The beer pours a golden orange color with a white head. The aroma is has some caramel notes with some grass and earth from the hops and a little bit of smoke mixed in. The flavor is more of the same. I get some caramel malt, some light smoke, some grass, herbs and a little bit of pine. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at the brewpub. Poured light brown/orange. Aroma is slightly smoky with some roaste malt and herbal notes that I suppose is the hemp. Taste doesn’t deliver the smoke I’d like, but the hemp really comes out in the taste here, kind of a rye flavor in there. Medium palate with a sweet finish. Good one.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear orange color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing. The aroma is smoked malt and a touch of pepper. Medium body with flavors of peppery spices and smoked malt, along with a touch of hops. The finish is smoky with a malt aftertaste. Pretty average overall.
