3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask - The Glass House (JDW), Norwich. Poured black with a big bubbly off-white head that settled to a fine creamy layer leaving a touch of lacing. Coconut comes through in the aroma with chocolate, some roastiness and hints of vanilla. Yes, itís sweet but thereís a good bitterness there to back it up in the finish. Lots of milk chocolate flavours, touches of vanilla and coffee. Thickish body, soft palate texture, a bit oily with low carbonation.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Can at North Bar Leeds; black brown with a thin beige head. Big blend of chocolate, vanilla, subtle and amazing coconut flavour. A bit aniseed on the end. Donít taste like a porter, more likely to be somehow dark IPA or light stout. Easy to drink, very tasty.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can from mane liquor. Pours a deep drown with tan head that disappears to bubbles. Nose shows toasted coconut, light chocolate, maybe some vanilla and roasted malts. Taste is typical porter flavours. Chocolate, roasted malts with a coconut tinge to it. Really like this one not heavy coconut but it lingers nicely.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Currently drinking whilst typing. Aroma is rich chocolate, toasted malt, well rounded sweetness from the coconut. A nice full creamy head sat on a rich black vessel. Flavour is of rich burnt malts, chocolate, subtle coconut is picked up when the beer has warmed suitably. Sweetness and nutty flavours also from the coconut, long cocoa finish very gentle bitterness. On the palate the beer is smooth and creamy, medium bodied and suitably carbonated. Overall this beer is truly lovely, not huge amounts of coconut initially but it is there! And for me that is a good thing. It could well be over powering but less is more in this case! Great beer, go get some!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours black with much bubble-bath foam that goes away after a few minutes. Aroma of toased coconut, coffee and dark chocolate, maybe a note of hops too. The taste is smooth with coconut flavor and full porter power - when it gets warmer the coconut stops being noticeable though. Medium to light body.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured black with a huge beige head that quickly settled. A medium bodied porter with a taste of malt, coconut, and chocolate predominately. Light carbonation to complement its texture. Definitely like the aroma more than the taste on this one.
