Draft. Clear pale golden body. Fizzy, white head, rapidly diminishing. Aroma of lemongrass, raw grain, herbal hops, lemon. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Citrus and lemon flavor.

Absolutely loved this one. Bit pricey, but great beer. Straw golden pour. Lots of subtle lemongrass notes blended with hints of barnyard and spices on the nose. Flavors bring out a classic Lost Abbey saison, thick body, yet goes down gently. Lemongrass melds beautifully with the saison yeast for a solid canned summer beer!

12 oz can. Pours a hazy light straw color with big head that dissipates quickly leaving spotty lacing.Aromas of yeast, lemons and a hint of coriander. Flavors are similar with wheat/grain notes . Smooth and somewhat creamy. Quite nice.

A: Mildly Hazy Golden Straw Hue, Passes Most Light, No Head, No Lacing, Bubbly S: Lemongrass, Yeast, Mild Sugar T: Lemongrass, Yeast, Mild Sugar, Mildly Tinny M: Poor Carbonation, Light to Medium Bodied, Mildly Sweet Overall, I have had this beer before and it liked it but this can seemed poorly carbonated, mild of flavor and had a metallic aftertaste, which I started noticing with their coconut porter too. I tihnk maybe Maui is starting to run their course.

350ml can. an odd one. pours hazy yellow orange. aroma is fruity, smells a little sour and you can get some lemon. taste: definitely has an after taste of lemon grass. a little too bitter. tastes very different after being left for 5 minutes.

Can at home from ales by mail.
hazy pale blonde with rich spicey Belgian esters, nelson sauvin gooseberry and citrus. Spikey carbonation, increasing hoppiness, a touch of spice in the finish and very dry.

Canned 17MAY13 Yellow, clowdy, a central dome and ring of whites. Smells of belgian yeast, some hay, grass, clay and manure - meh. Flavor is grain, soil, grass and hay again, a touch of lemongrass (I feel like Iím reaching here). Again fairly unimpressive for the flavor described. Medium on heavy with soft carb and a dry finish. I donít know if itís the shipping, or just their beer, but most of the beer is just not that good from this brewery, I donít get it. Maybe the novelty of a Hawaii brewed beer is what does it for everybody, but Iím getting close to calling it quits on this brewery - even though the only reason I seem to buy them I because Iíve had all their offerings.

Light medium yellow color..can pour..nose is full blown citrus..orange aplenty with citrus goodness..mouthfeel is light yet has plenty of character with spice..hint of clove..quite crisp and refreshing..lemongrass works well here and this is a solid offering

12 oz. can. It pours a pale yellow color with a large white head. The aroma is strong with wheat and a subtle dusty, spicy hop character. The flavor is again very wheaty and bready with light citrusy hops in the finish. Very little hop aroma or flavor, which is a shame what with the Citra and NS hops used in this brew. Very clean and refreshing though. Pretty decent.
