Hazy gold beer with a small white head. Palate is light with a mild minerally crispness. Semi dry. Light herby lemon and a light touches of yeast and citrus. Whisper of bubblegum. Light semi dry finish. It’s fine - but flirting with blandness. More lemongrass please!

Can from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy lemon gold with a slight white head. Aroma is funky citrus. Med body, nearly. Flavor is a bit wheaty, but I think the oat aspect is noticeable, with some lemon/citrus flavor and a touch of vinosity. It is earthy, and though it’s not strongly so, I think this is the defining characteristic. A nice, light saison. Aren’t they all?

Can @ home picked up at Supermarket Foco. Pours a hazy yellow appearance with a fluffy, off white head. Spicy yeasty, white pepper, pils malty, grassy, herbal, white wine aroma. A bit dank, spicy hoppy, white grape, chewy spicy herbal, wheat flavor that finishes pretty dry and moderately spicy. I’m not digging this very much.

12 ounce can from Beer Run. Pours a murky pale straw color with a large creamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of wheat, mild oat notes, tropical fruits including lemongrass. The taste is wheat, spice, citrus, lemongrass, oats. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, very mild lingering spice. Solid.
