Definitly has lemon and pine with a bit of yeasty aroma. Cloudy bright golden color with a thin champagne like head. Citrus zing at the start with and bubbly feel that rolls from the front to the back of the tongue then a dry after feel that rolls from the back to the tip of the tongue. After a few sips an apricot taste starts to appear and the dryness gains a hold more and more.Very nice.

Oh, my that’s pleasant. This should be served on warm sunny days, on a porch, all the time. It is so easy to drink, with lots of wonderful wheat, oats and pilsner malts, in a gorgeous saison body and some of the best hops around. But wait, you read correctly, there’s yummy refreshing lemongrass as well! I loved this beer.

Um, where to begin. I loved this stuff. It’s a nicely made saison, low in alcohol and comes in a can. Could this stuff be made year round? Pours hazy bright yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is big phenolic saison yeast with touches of light lemongrass. Flavor is much the same. Refreshing as hell, lots of hay and grassy malts with light spice touches matching up well with the lemongrass elements. A nice pairing both brewery and ingredient wise. Cheers!!

Can. Brighter yellow pour with white head. Nose of yeast, banana, grass, and hay. Funk is subdued a bit. Taste is citrus, banana, grass and also a subdued funk. Hops take a back seat to the yeasty grain. Some Hef qualities for sure. I really enjoy this beer for what it is. Not going to win any awards for nailing a complex style but a highly sessionable beer with several characteristics I enjoy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can, pours a pale straw color. Effervescent at first with a head that quickly retreats. Mild lemon and grapefruit aromas. Laided back sweetness mixed with smooth tart lemons. Easy drinking. Not quite what I think a Saison should be. Needs more dryness and less sweetness. Still its very enjoyable.

Can shared with Ashton McCobb. Properly enjoyed this in the Edinburgh sunshine! Perfect beer for it. Pours cloudy, no bad thing for the style. Floral aroma with bread and hay. Lots of pineapple mixed when the taste comes, along with Belgian yeasty notes. Something wheat-beer about it. Surprised it’s not a bigger beer. Finishes very dry, which was perfect.

Clear straw in hue with a fast-dissipating head. Aroma is of barn-hay and lemon with a little dusty funk. Flavor is smooth and crisp and pretty nuanced. Light crisp lemon tones mixed with pilsner and hay and barn malts, a wee bit of dust and a very light brett nuance. Very nice.

Light medium yellow color..can pour..nose is full blown citrus..orange aplenty with citrus goodness..mouthfeel is light yet has plenty of character with spice..hint of clove..quite crisp and refreshing..lemongrass works well here and this is a solid offering

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2014 Appearance: beer pours a very hazy light yellow color, has lots of haze and chunks in it, head is tall but fluffy and shrinks fast Aroma: funky, lemon, bread, wild, very aromatic Taste: strong lemon, has a bit of wildness to it, some tart, slightly sour, also has a sweetness to it Palate: light body, high carbonation, minimal aftertaste Overall: this is a really good smelling and tasting beer, I like the low abv on a saison so you don’t get so much of the alcohol taste, you can smell this across the room ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

aroma - has that good saison yeasty, doughy smell. not overly pungent. light banana, almost starfruit. color - hazy & sparkling blonde, very minimal head taste - lightly sweet, not bitter or sour (but subtle citrus/grassy) palate - light body, soft carbonation, creamy, finishes quick w/ lemongrass notes I enjoyed this beer - a solid saison, but interesting with the lemongrass notes. would certainly buy more, though it didn’t completely knock my socks off. Go C-Unit!
