2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask conditioned at The Turf Tavern, Oxford. Amber with no head. Flat and lifeless beer, probably more to do with the pub, but the whole thing seemed dull. Vegetal boiled notes, little hop impact. A bit of a cuckoo.

Cask, handpump at the Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks, 27-04-09 Pours light amber with a touch of the floralness on the nose. This is a simple easy drinking bitter possibly a touch sweet at times but a reasonable showing from the hops, its fine. A6 A4 F7 P3 Ov13 3.3

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask conditioned @ Giddy Bridge (JDW), Soton. Similar condition to the Bath SPA I had before but this withstood it slightly better. Fruity malt and earthy hop combination. Full mouthfeel and a little too sweet but with enough bitterness to keep it drinkable.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Wig and Pen Northampton. A golden coloured beer with a thin aroma, just at little malty charcter. The taste is too sweet by half, with a sticky sickly feel. A bit sherberty. Disappointing.
