Cask conditioned @ Humble Plumb, Soton. Light vaguely citric hops and sweetish malt. Unimpressive golden ale.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 tombyars (1102) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - FEB 10, 2012
Tasted this in the Last Post, Paisley (JDW) in August 2008. Cask, handpump dispense. Hazy gold in colour with a thin white head. Slight dusty note of hop flowers in the short aroma. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt gives a slight digestive biscuit note with tart grapefruit and crisp green apple fruit notes. Metallic hop resins impart a bitter tang to the long aftertaste. Finish is malty with a hint of sweet barley sugar. An ok summer session Golden Ale.

[RBESG, Sheffield]
Cask @ University Arms, Sheffield.
Pours lightly hazy golden with a nice, creamy, white film head. Good lacings. Aroma has lots of green apple, light doughy malts and subdued citric and piney hops. Very light carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of green applepeel, light cider-ish, actually. Some subdued doughy malts. Fine, dry hoppy finish.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 bobinlondon (1179) - Harrow, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 14, 2008
Handpulled cask at JDW Hatch End, Harrow. Perfect looking pull, gold with slowly clearing creamy white head, without the use of a sparkler. Good hoppy aroma. No strong flavours but a perfect blend of gentle sweet malt and subtle citric hops. Very well brewed and good enough for a second pint despite another scoop being available on the bar!

Cask, gravity, at Bedford Beer Festival ’07. Gold with a nettly hop aroma. Rather thin soapy-water taste. Low bitterness. Disappointing.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 FatPhil (6216) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 25, 2007
Cask (Market Porter, London)
Light amber, no head. Sweet malty aroma. Taste is much bigger, a very generous hoppy kick to stop it becoming too corn-sweet. Bitter finish lasts a long time.
