Woodlangs Hotel Beer Festival Lancashire Cask - Copper colour. Citrus, peach and grass aroma . Medium body. Medium Bitter Malt, prune with a soft honey aftertaste, cake? . Yeast and malt lingers afterwards that is unpleasent.

BeerViking (1056) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 1, 2010
Cask/handpump at the Red Lion. Nose was promising, with peach, a touch of banana, and green herbs, then the palate brought marmalade and burnt treacle, a hint of syrup and roast nuts, a little fruit-cake. The let-down was the harsh bitter finish.

berkshirejohn (3020) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2009
Cask, gravity dispensed, at the Cambridge Blue, Cambridge. Copper coloured with a ring of cream head; cinnamon and Christmas spice aromas; mulled wine flavour with autumn fruit - plums and blackberries - but also dry and biscuity; the finish is like a rich, brandy-soaked fruit cake. Excellent.

Cask conditioned at The Castle, Furnival St., London
Hazy golden color. There is a light apple vinegar character in this mellowish Golden Ale. Pleasant but simple.

Cask gravity at Nottingham BF 2007. Gold/copper with no head. A bitter/marzen mix. Sweetish, drinkable. Has a lagerish tinge. Some hop. Fine.
