Hazy blond color. The aroma is mild, with malt, hops and fruits, maybe apples, pleasant. Good mouthfeel, it has a good earthy malt flavor, with caramel, light toffee, very light fruitness, correct bitterness. Good Golden Ale, where the delicate earthy touch is a plus.

Reasonable session bitter, but a bit too yeasty and bready. Pleasant dry finish but an uninspiring bitter.

Cask @ The Queens Arms. Pale golden color with a small white head. Light yeasty nose. Faint white grape. Some straw, spun sugar. The taste is yeasty, slightly cheesy. I don’t think this is in good condition. Slightly acidic. Some lemon. Light white bread. Light body, soft carbonation. Not great.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW, London. Pours clear gold with a tight foam head. Faint, sweet dough aroma. Medium sweet flavor with creamy malts and some leaves. Medium bodied with fine, smooth carbonation. Sweet finish with some toasty sugar, faint caramel and leafy bitterness. Uninspiring - could be in poor shape.

Cask conditioned at Fleetwood Beer Fest ’12. Pale gold with white head. Quite a light, easy drinking beer, fruity, malty, not as sharp as expected, but som orange zest hints. Decent enough.

On cask at Cloisters. Pours a golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma is quite bitter with grassy hops, yeast, and alcohol. Similar flavours with some caramel and tar. Moderate carbonation and an oily mouth-feel.

Cask conditioned Handpump Coach & Horses Wellingborough. An orange gold coloured beer with a white head. A clean beer with fresh tasting hops. First gold like orangey flavours. A nice body. Really clean and tasty. A top session beer.

Cask at the CASK, Pimlico, 27th Nov 2010. Amber with no head. Nice dryness, delicate palate with citrus peel. Some restrained grapefruit notes and a light nose. Very sessionable. Doesn’t challenge you - adjust this rate up or down accordingly!
