UPDATED: JUN 22, 2007 500ml bottle from the brewery. Having had 4 bottles of this I have decided that I like it. Chilled and filtered before bottling. Amber, rocky white head. Little bit estery on aroma on this bottle which I didn’t pick up on the previous bottles. Good sharp English hop aroma too. Decent malts in mouth, little bit biscuity. Peachy hop finish is very good. Bitter. Tasty, but would like to try on cask.
I had this on cask at the Gardener’s Arms in Lewes and didn’t like it as much as the bottle version, fuller, but sweeter and less hoppy.
