On tap at the Maumee Bay Brewing Co. Oliver House brewpub. Hazy, dark orange amber with a pale khaki head and fair lacing. Aroma of brown bread, caramel, chili peppers and agave sweetener. Taste of hot chili peppers, brown bread and sweet malt. Medium body and medium carbonation. Very spicy! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at the brewpub. Pours reddish-amber color with a small foamy head that collects to a nice ring. Peppery aroma with some tropical fruit and a touch of smoke. Taste has this awesome toasted cereal sweetness (Im guessing thats the agave) that mixes great with the smokey peppers. Some cedar-like wood taste in the finish to go along with the moderate spicy pepper burn. Very good chili beer.

Draft. Poured hazy amber with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sweet & pepper aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium smooth pepper flavor with a medium sweet & hot finish of moderate duration. My expectations where exceeded.

Sample on tap during Ohio Brew Week. Nice hazy dark amber color. Minimal off-white head, leaving good lace. Nice smokey toasted malt taste, good savory and light sweet, with some wood. Light crisp carbonation, good dry texture. Light tropical fruit sweetness, very savory and sort of smokey, some bacon flavor. Good beer.

Sample at Jackie Os as part of Ohio Brew Week. The beer pours a clear amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes slowly. Patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt and chili pepper. Light body with a subtle chili character and notes of smoked malt and hops. The finish is chipotle peppers with a spiced aftertaste. Decent overall.
