Mar 5, 2006 Pint draft at the brewpub - Dark brown color with a thin head, aroma of malt and especially bananas. The flavor is also quite malty and has strong banana notes. Wait... notes isn’t the right word. I started to wonder if they’d mashed up bananas to make this beer. The body is fairly moderate and the finish leaves you with, you guessed it, bananas! I’m not quite sure what to think. It’s not that it’s bad. I didn’t mind downing my pint. But holy freakin’ bananas, Batman!

Jan 21, 2006 Draft at brewpub. Served at 41 degrees. Dark brown color with an average creamy off-white head that lasted. An average toated malt and chocolate aroma. Medium body. Good moderate toasted malt and chocolate flavor with a good banana flavor finish that improved as the beer warmed. Well done.
