Oct 12, 2006 Sample at the brewpub: Pours clear dark amber with a medium thin off-white head and spotty lacing. Rye and bready malt aroma is hard to pick up but is pleasant. Medium-bodied and smooth rye and hops flavors, with a touch of sweet malt. The finish dry with lightly bitter hops that linger for awhile. Above average.

Jul 17, 2005 Pours amber/ brown. Decent lacing. This beer almost tasted like chicken. Very noticable butterscotch flaw as well. Grainy. Dry.
