3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 beeryum (652) - Norcross, Georgia, USA - SEP 18, 2005
Draft. Light gold and clear. Light malt aroma, with some corn and slight peppery hops. Huge amounts of noble hops in flavor - peppery and woody, along with some malt. Moderate bitter finish. After reading through some of the other reviews, I think that the brewer is tinkering with the recipe. This version I had was very hoppy, and not too bad. It was a bit unbalanced tho.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 whaleman (2175) - North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 25, 2005
Cottony white head and clear, straw-colored body. Citrusy, pineapple nose with a slight grassy quality and an odd note of ammonia. No detectable diacetyl anywhere to be found. Clean, fairly tart and mostly dry flavor with a somewhat bitter finish. A fair pilsner, but could use a touch of buttery richness.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 wunderbier (1434) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 30, 2005
Tap, downtown Atlanta. Pale, pale gold hue is very clear. Bread malt and orange/lemon hops. It’s really that simple. Decent strength hop aroma. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter, lightly acidic flavor becomes a lightly acidic, lightly bitter finish. Grainy. Medium-light body, watery texture, moderate carbonation. The bottom line is: Starts off smelling like it’ll be hoppy, but doesn’t follow through.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 PorterPounder (3941) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAY 30, 2005
On tap at their Buford, Ga. location. No real discernible aroma to this one, pours a pale straw color with a thin white head. Slight lemony flavor, with some honey notes, but other than that basic lager flavor. Refreshing though and was a good meal washer-downer. Overall, though quite bland.

A lovely larger, enjoyed on various pub crawls. Great when one can’t stand drinking beers like Guiness. Goes down easily.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Eyedrinkale (3214) - Astoria, New York, USA - SEP 9, 2004
A Bohemian Pilsener that pours clear gold with a small head. Hardly any aroma what so ever. Taste had a nice hop initial bite to it but the flavor soon became over come with corn. Too sweet for the style in my opinion.

Not much going on here. A bland, generic brewpub offering for the masses. A step up from BMC but not much of one.
2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 hotstuff (3213) - Indiana, USA - DEC 18, 2003
Draft at Max Lager's in downtown Atlanta. This beer had a small sized white head that contained fine-small bubbles that were mostly lasting. The body was uncarbonated, transparent and the hue was golden. The nose was malty, sweet and fruity with a hoppy taste to it. The mouthfeel was smooth and this was a light bodied beer with fair lacing. Not a beer that I would recommend as it was boring, flat and bland.
