On tap at the brewpub. This one has 5% abv according to the bartender. Dark clear yellow. tasty alfalfa taste. slight hop scent. flavor gets harsh when it lingers - pleasant while drinking. too much residual bitterness.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 wunderbier (1434) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 30, 2005
Tap, downtown Atlanta. Pale, pale gold hue is very clear. Bread malt and orange/lemon hops. It’s really that simple. Decent strength hop aroma. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter, lightly acidic flavor becomes a lightly acidic, lightly bitter finish. Grainy. Medium-light body, watery texture, moderate carbonation. The bottom line is: Starts off smelling like it’ll be hoppy, but doesn’t follow through.

TheDM and Hotstuff vacation brew 18. This draft brew was enjoyed at the brewery in Atlanta Georgia. This brew poured a medium sized head of fine to largf sized white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a uncarbonated transparent straw yellow colored body. The aroma was of mild malts and the mouthfeel was smooth at the start with a slightly tingly quickly diminishing finish. It had a mellow malt hop flavor. Overall it was not as bad as some of the others from this brewery.
2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 hotstuff (3249) - Indiana, USA - DEC 18, 2003
Draft at Max Lager's in downtown Atlanta. This beer had a small sized white head that contained fine-small bubbles that were mostly lasting. The body was uncarbonated, transparent and the hue was golden. The nose was malty, sweet and fruity with a hoppy taste to it. The mouthfeel was smooth and this was a light bodied beer with fair lacing. Not a beer that I would recommend as it was boring, flat and bland.

Not much going on here. A bland, generic brewpub offering for the masses. A step up from BMC but not much of one.

Location: On tap at the downtown Atlanta location 4/16/09
Overall Impression:
Found this one to be an accurate example of a style that is usually pretty boring. I didn’t enjoy this one much at all. It’s a drop better then most of the macros, and that’s about it.

Light colour, no head to speak of. Crisp, clean, bitter particular in finish that was malted, maybe not enough. Some saaz hops present, so pilsner like substitute for the macros. Not bad. Glass had bleach in it so negative on smell
