Bright gold/copper pour. Bright white head. A nice explosion of citrusy and tropical fruit, balanced bitterness and light sweetness from the malt. Good beer.

Pours a clear golden orange on tap with nice cap of off-white head that leaves light lace. Aroma of resinous citrus, hints of vanilla, and nice caramel malt. Taste is more towards the sweeter side, malty but still nice hop character. No real bitterness, more citrus. Not too bad, but no explosion.

At the brewpub, it was a good IPA, a little more bitter, like a really big English style but certainly drinkable

Cascade and Centennial orange, flowers and pine in the nose with faint match stick / phosphorus. Medium-light body, lightly sweet, medium bitterness, medium acidity and low carbonation. Body seems a bit peaked and thin. No major off-notes but altogether it’s pretty basic with a lot of pine resin / orange. Clear amber. From draft.

b3shine (5458) - Indiana, USA - NOV 21, 2013
Draft to taster at the downtown brewpub. Looks subpar for an IPA; a completely transparent light golden orange with white lacing. Smells and tastes of hops and pale malt with a touch of soapiness. Meh.

I live for IPA but this was almost undrinkable. There was an overpowering aroma of grapefruit which I can only say reminded me of urinal blocks. Unfortunately this disguised any other flavours whuch might have been present.

Location: Draft at Max Lagers, 4/17/13

Aroma: It has a clean citrus hop nose, with some pale malts and some spice as well
Appearance: It pours a hazed orange color, with a small white head, and minimal lace
Flavor: The flavor is medium-plus bitter early, with a clean malt backbone, and a bitter finish
Palate: The body is medium, it has a fairly average carbonation, a good feel, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: Very solid IPA. Clearly the only conclusion I can draw it that either I got the short end of the stick last time, or the beers have drastically improved.
