On tap at GABF. Pours a mostly clear golden color with a medium white head. The aroma is lemons, some grains, a bit of crystal I guess. The flavor is toasted malts, lemon and oranges, light bitterness. Decent.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 ChainGangGuy (4123) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - AUG 18, 2011
Appearance: Hazy, light copper-hued body with a whitish head.
Smell: Smells of pale malts, faint sweet-scented caramel, as well as floral and pith notes, though not particularly robust or aromatic.
Taste: Pale malts, a bit of modestly sweet caramel with a hint of toasted French bread. White grapefruit, lemon, and some slight florals, though, as with the aroma, it’s not quite bold, more ho-hum, really. Medium-plus bitterness. Very faintly resinous on the back end closing out with a flat, bitterish, lightly pithy finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-low carbonation.
Overall: An acceptable albeit very average IPA. Again with the low carbonation here.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JCB (3808) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - DEC 28, 2010
On tap at the brewpub. A clean, dry, unostentatious but quite satisfying IPA. Bright orange pour with a billowy head. Fairly pungent nose, dry citrus rind and a kiss of flowers. Mouthfeel is - as per usual with ML’s beers, I came to realize - a bit insubstantial. But the beer is flavorful and refreshing and went down well on several occasions over a warm Halloween weekend.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 brentfeesh (1206) - Gadsden, Alabama, USA - AUG 12, 2010
UPDATED: AUG 15, 2010 On cask (gravity pour) at the brewery. Golden with very minimal carbonation, no head. Lightly floral and hints of caramel/candy sweetness. Hoppy. Spicy and floral hops on a still but reasonably malty body. Light bodied and dry. Good.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 aracauna (2855) - Georgia, USA - JUL 2, 2010
Nice clear amber with plentiful head. The hops in the aroma are a little sappy with a nicely spicy note balancing it out. Slightly ragged bitterness is balanced by sweetness of the malt. Excellent IPA.
