3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 kimcgolf (872) - Dacula, Georgia, USA - MAY 21, 2006
Draft......Very strong citrus-hop aroma, mostly grapefruit. Disappointed in the appearance, light orange, with absolutely no head or lacing, but had a . good taste and finish. Drank this outside in 80 degree weather, a perfect fit for a warm May evening.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 CaptainCougar (6746) - Boz Scaggsville, Maryland, USA - APR 25, 2006
Pours a clear pale golden with a frothy, nicely-lacing white head. Earthy, lightly bitter hoppy aroma has some pale malt presence. Grainy semi-sweet flavor has some mild floral bitterness before a dry bittersweet finish. Doesn’t have that big fresh hop presence and malty balance I like in IPAs.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - APR 5, 2006
Draft @ downtown location. Poured a clear golden color with a thin off-white head. The aroma had a light fruitiness and light hop. The aroma while fruity did not have much sweetness. Light fruity malt flavor but this was very short leading to some bitterness.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Sammy (5881) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 10, 2006
The best beer in their lineup, I think the only one to have. Aroma has hop in ity. Nicely hopped and fruity. Hoppy carbonation, tast e the spruce and leaf in the finish. Not too malted down, but also not an IPA either.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Hangover (926) - Atlanta, USA - FEB 11, 2006
On tap at max lagers. Clear golden pour with minimal head or lacing. Hoppy aroma, fresh crisp taste. Nice hopping, mostly citrus, for a west coast ipa I expected more of a pine presence. I found the malt to be pretty solid in this, contributing to a moderately sticky finish, with nice lingering hop bitterness. Pretty good overall. I liked it.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 brentfeesh (1179) - Gadsden, Alabama, USA - FEB 1, 2006
On tap at Max Lagers. A golden orange pour with a wispy head and light lacing. Floral and spruce aroma. Body is medium and crisp. The aroma prepares you for the flavor. Initial tastes of spicy and floral hops. Nice and bitter. Light grain body but definitely a hop dominated brew. Good one.
2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Nuffield (3058) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JAN 9, 2006
Golden with white foam. Sweet, hoppy, BBQ (celery, vinegar) in a good way. Perfumey flavor, metallic edge, unclean finish but I got used to it through the sweetness provided. (on tap, downtown Atlanta location)
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 wilkie (1209) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - OCT 20, 2005
Draught. Orange color, small head, with a very slight haze. Hoppy citrus aroma. Flavor is very hoppy, with hop grapefruit. Well balanced hop attack. Solid IPA.
