Light gold/dark yellow color with hardly head to speak of. Aroma is citrus and a bit of resin. Taste is more sour than bitter, but picks up a bit in the malty finish. Medium bodied, decent.

The best beer of the bunch, but the more I had, the less I liked it. I think a lot people may have only had the sampler and thus overrated it. IT truel y got worse as it went on, IMO. It had a nice enough head, which was the only thiing from keeping this a 2 in appearance as it looked almost like a hefe with hazy hues and light colors. Not what an IPA shoudl look like. The aroma wasn’t bad. A lot like an American IPA should, citrus, grapefruit, pine, floral. The flavor was good, but like I said seemed to lesen over the pint.

TheDM and Hotstuff vacation brew 19. This draft brew was enjoyed at the brewery in Atlanta Georgia. We had this brew with dinner. It was described as a West Coast IPA. It poured a small head of fine to very large sized ,mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a fair lace and a uncarbonated transparent light orange colored body. The aroma was very hoppy and it had a medium hoppy flavor. The mouthfeel was smooth at the start, hoppy and finished with a slightly bitter ending

The menu calls this an IPA. Clear, deep golden body and a fading, tight sudsy head that refused to stand. Aroma of green apple with a note of chlorine and a subdued hop aroma. Not very enticing. Flavor is substantially bitter and rather coarse with insufficient balance. Cleaner bittering hops and some nice aroma hops for dry-hopping would help immensely here. The brewpub isn’t called Max Ales and this beer shows why.

tap at ewery. top ten in atlanta isn’t saying much if this is in it. straw color pour. hop and grapefruit. too much fruit. As I found with many of their beers the finish is too tart.

Golden with white foam. Sweet, hoppy, BBQ (celery, vinegar) in a good way. Perfumey flavor, metallic edge, unclean finish but I got used to it through the sweetness provided. (on tap, downtown Atlanta location)
