COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A vibrantly red Vienna-style lager, Max Red has a smooth toasted malt character created by a blend of Munich, Biscuit and Pilsner malts. Spicy Tettnanger hops add a subtle accent to the finish of this medium- to light-bodied beer. IBU 22 ABV 4.7% O.G. 14º Plato

Floral hoppy aroma, spiciness in hops, and bitterness. Some malt complexity. Not bad as a vienna but not an outstanding beer. thinish body. Light copper colour with no head

GABF 2010 as Max Vienna. Pours a clear dull copper/ light orange with a thinning head. Aroma is diacetyl, butter, vanilla, marshmellow, toasted malts, light grass. Flavor is herbal, dusty crackery malts, toffee, biscuit, some flowery hops, with more butter and a touch of vanilla. Slight slick finish., Some off things here.

TheDM and Hotstuff vacation brew 20. This draft brew was enjoyed at the brewery in Atlanta Georgia. This brew poured a medium sized head of mostly lasting fine to large sized light brown colored bubbles that left behind a good lace and a transparent red brown colored uncarbonated body. It had a very mild red malt aroma. The mouthfeel was thin flat, old and uncarbonated. The flavor was also thin with only a slight red malt flavor to it. It vas very one-dimensional.

Had on tap at their Buford location. Pours a light copper with a nice foamy off-white head and excellent lacing. Sweet maple syrup-like aroma. Flavor has some caramel notes with a wee bit of honey sneaking in the back door. Maple syrup notes come through in the flavor as well. Decently thick mouthfeel. Very good.
