Cask conditioned, The Wouldhave, South Shields. Hazy gold in colour with a very subtle hoppy aroma. Extremely earthy on the palate, almost soil-like. A liitle bitterness in the aftertaste but this is overshadowed by the initial earthy notes. Not very pleasant.

Depending on the light, this a a cloudy pale yellow ale or one that resembles a cloudy apple appearance. It has a very small head and a full malty hoppy aroma that is a touch skunky. Itís taste is similar but less stated.

4.2% cloudy gold with no head (looks like a sample), sweet fruity malt aroma, slightly watery fruity taste but not bad.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with thin white head. Nose of zesty light hops with a tofffe and caramelic maltiness. In the mouth, nice and caramelic with some light zesty grassy hops. Toffee sweet finish. Nice and drinkable.

Pint at Spoons Gateshead. Hazy Gold, thin but solid off-white head. Farmyard and Wine in the aroma, and the flavour. Wine so prominent, I wondered if it had been added after brewing! Wine, bubble gum and cereal flavours, bitter finish. Nice beer.
