Canned. An anaemic gold coloured beer with an off-white pool of head. A sweet and skunky aroma. Typical eurocrap lager with weird light fruits in the mouth. A bit like a shandy in some of its flavours. Poor.

Bottled. (thanks Cuesheet). Golden colour small white head Aroma is grains, sweet malts, rubber, some starch and mild hay. Flavour is starch, sweet stuff, and mild herbal notes.

500ml can (Maxima, Riga)
4 Gentle pale lager aroma, pretty nondiscript.
2 Pale yellow-gold, brief fizzy/frothy head.
4 Very bland, slight hint of flavour somewhere, I think.
2 Crisp palate, fizzy carbonation. Finish almost nonexistent
6 Utterly devoid of any interesting tastes at all. The blanc-mange of beers. Fortunately no nastiness at all.
