3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from a supermarket in Leerdam, Netherlands. The beer is dark amber colored and has a large broken white head, with nice carbonation.
The aroma is malty and has notes of fresh hops, caramel, roasted malts and bread.
The taste is light sweet and slightly dry with notes of roasted malts, caramel, fresh hops and fruits and gives a spicy bitterness in the end.
The finish is light dry and light bitter.
I don’t know if you have to call this a bock. It’s an oke beer, but it has nothing to do with a bock beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slight/medium aroma of malts, caramel, bread and fruit.
Turbid/opaque golden/amber beer with a slight/medium off-white/beige head.
Medium sweet and slightly dry with malts, caramel, bread and fruit.
This beer is rather intense and balanced, but lacks complexity. Shamefully both the aroma and flavour are nothing much.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Draught at Kafé België, Utrecht, 18 Feb 2018) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, caramel, liquorice and black rye bread. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, caramel, hints of liquorice and a gentle spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Nice hazy orange-tinged brew with a good creamy head. Doesn’t really have much of an aroma. Or a taste. What was the point of this?

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Starts with nice hoppiness but disappears. Peppery sharp carbo and sweet bock backbone. Alright but with little conviction. Backlog from 2014/10/07.

Strange beer to me. Lacking in aroma and flavor. Looks very pretty but hard to say something about.
