There has got to be something wrong with this batch and/or bottle. Disgustingly metallic and wry. Very dissappointing, horrible, threw it away. Bottle from Van Erp Roden.

Bottle 330ml at home, poured into a snifter. ABV 7% Pours a very deep orange colour, on the borderline of light brown. One finger of off-white head, with average retention, leaving bubble islands on the surface and medium lacing on the glass. Aroma of malts, hops, resin, chocolate, light toffee. Taste is quite hoppy, light malty too. Fruity with notes of citrus, light red fruits, floral as well. Bitter from the beginning all the way to the aftertaste. Medium thin body, good soft carbonation. Overall very good as a beer, not exactly a bock though. Still very refreshing, very drinkable and a real thirst quencher.

Donkere roodbruine kleur met een volle creme kraag. Fruitige geur. Smaakt fris zoet, beetje kunstmatig.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy reddish brown coloured brew with an fruity Americanesque hoppy bitter taste. Not the quite the Doppelbock i be used too.

Bottle courtesy of Kermis. Pours an unclear copper colored beer with a small off white head on top. Aroma is nutty, caramel, malty with hints of red fruits. Flavour is quite bitter for a doppelbock, pretty nice nonetheless. Some earthy characters going on with fruity touches. Decent balance going on, watery mouthfeel. Ok brew.
