On tap @ In de buurt. The aroma has caramel, piney hop tones, some raisin. Hazy, brown coloured beer with an off-white, medium head. The taste is light sweet, light-moderate bitter. Has caramel, just a little hint of spice, hop tones. Okay for a bock.

Bottle. Light brown with big off white head. Sweet malts, brown sugar and light spices. Also quite some hops with exotic wood and a herbal finish. Also some weird cardboard and metallic notes. Ok but nothing great.

33cl bottle Appearance: allmost light brown orange with on top of it a off white head Aroma: caramelised malts, hops, resin, chocolate Taste: Suprisingly hoppy for a bock, Palate of red fruits and citrus fruits. Quite Bitter overall, but there are some good caramelised malts. Medium to hin body, soft carbonation. Not a real Bock beer, but ok

There has got to be something wrong with this batch and/or bottle. Disgustingly metallic and wry. Very dissappointing, horrible, threw it away. Bottle from Van Erp Roden.

Bottle 330ml at home, poured into a snifter. ABV 7% Pours a very deep orange colour, on the borderline of light brown. One finger of off-white head, with average retention, leaving bubble islands on the surface and medium lacing on the glass. Aroma of malts, hops, resin, chocolate, light toffee. Taste is quite hoppy, light malty too. Fruity with notes of citrus, light red fruits, floral as well. Bitter from the beginning all the way to the aftertaste. Medium thin body, good soft carbonation. Overall very good as a beer, not exactly a bock though. Still very refreshing, very drinkable and a real thirst quencher.

Donkere roodbruine kleur met een volle creme kraag. Fruitige geur. Smaakt fris zoet, beetje kunstmatig.
