Draft @ Maximus Brewery. High citrus aroma with some strawberry. Clear yellow with a small white head.slightly bitter flavour with some copper and a bit of hay. Lemon-like aftertaste. Also because of the low alcohol its a good beer for in summer to drink all day long

On Tap @ Maximus. 25cl sample. The aroma has some citrus/grapefruits, little hint of grass, some caramel. Clear, golden coloured beer with a thin, bit off-white head. The taste is light bitter, citric. Very easy drinking beer. Almost clean, dry. Thin body. Good.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 22 Aug 2014) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with bread, citrus and peaches. Malty taste with notes of bread, citrus, peaches and a gentle grassy bitterness in the finish. Rather thin body, quite dry. Refreshing and tasty, but on the thin side. Quite enjoyable.

Tap @ Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 11/09/14. Pours a golden orange with a good, white head. Aroma is grapefruit and citrus. Taste is thin. Grapefruit, citrus, lemon peel. Not much in the way of any malt flavors though not surprising that. Smooth, lightly juicy, not much carbonation.

Saeglopur (1046) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - AUG 23, 2014
Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Orange, hazy body, with a medium, frothy, white head. Aroma and taste of citrus, orange, grass, herbs, honey. Mouthfeel is pretty light, slick, with a light carbonation and it finishes medium bitter, citric and grassy. Good. A pretty grassy IPA, with not that many fruit notes. The mouthfeel is too thin for my liking. But still a refreshing beer.

On tap at Arendsnest. Hazy pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, grapefruit and peach. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, crackers, nice fruity flavours of grapefruit, passion fruit and peach, bitter finish. Light-bodied, watery, but that is to be expected. Nice and tasty beer.

Hoppy aroma of mostly citrussy fruits, light grapefruits. Flavour is fruity with a decent bitterness in the aftertaste. A bit watery, but that’s to be expected. Quite refreshing and highly sessionable APA.
