3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle @ Home (thx Tycho!)
Fresh hops pop out as soon as you open the bottle. Some malts too, after you pour. Looks yellowy-amber, slight haze, with thick white head (Everybody likes good head...) and medium carbonation. With 50 IBU and 6% alcohol it is a true European take on the IPA. Although the fresh hops seems more bitter than 50. Well balanced with light citrus, resins and malts. Little fizzy in the end.
Could drink this all day.

Simple gently fruity and starchy malt aroma. Lovely refreshing clean hoppy taste. Lots of Nelson Sauvan and other fruity aspects. Full of taste, but light in feel, good carbonation. Nice IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at Rootz at the Harbour, Den Haag. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is citrus hop. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a huge grassy hop, light pepper spice, light citrus, light metallic palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a bubbly mouthfeel. One of the better IPA’s being brewed in the Netherlands. The big Belgian yeast aroma is not there and they threw the hop bucket into this. Well done guys!

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2014
33 cl bottle as "Highhops 6" @ HBF’14, BBE 14 22.01.2016
Aroma has apricot and some toffee typical to Belgian ales. Flavour has apricot, some citrus tones and grassy hops. Finishes dry with hints of minerals. Quite typical Belgian ale, except for the fruity American hops. Refreshing.
