11/VII/14 - 33cl bottle from Biernavigatie (webshop, NL) @ home - BB: 22/I/16 (2014-808)

Clear orange beer, creamy white irregular head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of exotic fruits, some alcohol, bit grassy, passion fruits, pineapple, sweet caramel malts. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit of sweet malts, bitter hops, some citrus, grassy, bit medicinal bitterness. Aftertaste: very bitter and dry, bit of grapefruit, grassy hops, not balanced enough, fruity, nor piny, just dry and bitter finish. Ending could have been much better and was expecting way more from it, given the aroma.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 23/06/16, at Black Door, 20140906) The beer poured golden and rather clear. Its head was quite large, white and it lasted long. Aroma had fruitiness, tangerine, herbalness, pine and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, herbalness, sweetness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. Because of the herbalness the overall feeling was somewhat medicine like and that was not pleasant.

A fine finger thick white head, on top of a light hazy golden body. Fine lacing. Nice tropical fruity, toffee and mild grapefruit hoppy aroma. Quite fresh and nice. Medium body. Moderate sweet, and a fresh bitterness. Malty, citric, tropical fruity notes and some grassy notes. Decent nice IPA.

Countbeer (4425) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - NOV 28, 2013
Draught: Served in a Maximus Tulip: Medium sized creamy foamy head on top of a hazy dark yellow to orange colored beer. Aromas of hops, citrus, apricot peach, light pine, some malts, hint of hop sweets and flowers, some hay, cleaner and cream(y hop tones). Flavours of hop tones, hop fruits, peach and apricot, bitter, light dry, malts, hay, some earth, floral tones, herbal bitter, some yeast and some grass. Aftertaste is good hoppy with hop fruits, bitters, floral tones and some hay and yeast. Low carbo, a mouthfeel between watery and creamy, medium to lightly fuller bodied and a light creamy texture. Crispy, easy and I like it.

Bottle at Rootz at the Harbour, Den Haag. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is citrus hop. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a huge grassy hop, light pepper spice, light citrus, light metallic palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a bubbly mouthfeel. One of the better IPA’s being brewed in the Netherlands. The big Belgian yeast aroma is not there and they threw the hop bucket into this. Well done guys!

Really classy IPA with that yeasty background and belgian hops upfront. Thick, high carbo, some citrus and pineapple. Good and recommandable.
