Stout bieren zijn bijzonder populair tegenwoordig. Sterke smaak, maar verder weinig subtiel of karaktervol.

330 ml bottle. Pours a black colour with a small head. Aroma of biscuit, roastiness and leather. Flavour of roastiness, quite heavy grassy bitterness, biscuit, some chocolate and mild citrus. Medium bodied with a slightly too high carbonation. Dry leathery finish. Good.

Nekem nem jött be, nem találkozott az ízlésemmel. Sokkal lágyabbat vártam. Lehet, hogy túl volt hűlve?

33cl bottle pours with a mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head. The aroma offers up dry chocolate chip cookie mix, dark roasted coffee, chicory and black licorice. The taste is spicy with chicory and black licorice and then heading quickly into chocolate and dark roasted coffee and dark roasted malts. The chocolate comes forward some into the finish. Pretty nice stout.

Pours very dark, almost black with a tiny beige head. Very nice aromas of malt, caramel, Taste is of a strong stout with roasty malts, coffee and chocolate. Bitter finish with liquorice in the aftertaste. Like the Guiness Special Export: very good.

Bottled, 33 cl. Pours nearly black with a creamy and lasting tan head on its top. Nose of chocolate and dried fruits. Aroma containing caramel, chocolate and dried fruits, mouthfeel is thick. Long, dry and warming finish escorted distinctly by licorice and grapefruit. Pretty good.

Pours wit a clear, deep black color, topped with a good-looking cream colored head. Also, nice retention. Aroma is malty and slightly roasty. The taste is very bitter along with quite some roastiness and coffee in the end. Drinkable but very strong taste.
